Children are invited to come to school dressed as the book (not cartoon!) character of their choice.  If children could bring a donation of £1 with them for dressing up that would be fabulous – this will go towards buying some lovely new books for our children to read.  There will be a prize for the most interesting and original

Sports Roundup An excellent performance by the Yr5/6 basketball team in the Newport cluster competition saw us win the tournament and progress through to the Island games final. Last Wednesday the children in KS1 had visitors from the Owl and Monkey Haven. The children were fascinated by their feathered friend Beau and asked lots of sensible questions to find out information.
