Newsletter 7th April 2017

Dear Parents,

It has been another very busy term. Can I thank you all for your ongoing support. I would also like to thank the pupils for their hard work over the spring term and I wish them all a lovely Easter Break. In addition can I thank the staff for all their efforts this term and I wish them all a lovely break too.

I am immensely proud of the achievements the pupils have made this term. From the year 3/4 football team in the Cup Final to the Ceilidh dancing we have been involved with some fantastic activities. I have been really impressed by the school’s Facebook page, where we have been able to share in many of these exciting events.

Over the summer there are likely to be further developments in improving the school site and phase 2 of the building work should start by the end of the school year. The outside of the school buildings will be transformed and upgraded. As soon as we have any further information we will let you know.

Can I also remind parents about attendance and lateness. As a school we are judged on our attendance and lateness into school. There are still some children who are regularly late for school and this has an impact on learning. Can I urge you all to be extra conscious of the need to be punctual for school.

In addition can I remind parents that the school uniform expectations can be found on the school website. We fully appreciate that sometimes this can be a challenge but the uniform is a school expectation and we expect pupils to come equipped in the right gear. Please can you remember to send the children to school with the right PE kit and footwear on PE days.

We now look forward to the summer and enjoying the better weather and enjoying the outdoors of the new school site.

Happy Easter

Mr Snow
