We have reached the end of another very busy half term. The children have settled in and are working well. We have welcomed 19 new faces to Barton this term and look forward to more children when we return as the school continues to grow.
Thank you for those parents who have attended the parent’s evenings this week to discuss your child’s progress.
There have been lots of different events for the children to experience including The Hawaiian day, The CSE play, and an orchestra visit as well as a number of class visits. Year 6 went to the mainland to visit another school as well as UKSA, Key Stage 1 enjoyed a trip to Parkhurst forest and years 3,5,6 took part in the Literary Festival at Nine Acres and Hunnyhill.
Please may I remind you that the staff have training days on Friday 20th October and Monday 31st October.
We look forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 31st. Remember we have Halloween discos planned for that evening.
Enjoy the break
