Updates & Reminders

  • Breakfast Club and After School Club. Breakfast club does need to be booked, please remember to pre-book After School Club sessions via School Money.  Https://Eduspot.co.uk and select ‘sign in’ and then schoolmoney parent login. Unfortunately we cannot take bookings from those with outstanding arrears.

  • Vandalism. If you see anyone on the school site when the school is closed, please call 101 to report it. Unfortunately selfish, anti-social behaviour like this has an impact on the school; money has to be diverted to repairs and the children are not fully able to use the facilities we have.Over the summer holidays the fencing around the school field has been vandalised and rubbish left on the field.
  • Changes to personal details. If any details have changed over the summer (address, phone number, medical), please don’t forget to let us know.
  • Dropping off. The school car park is for the use of school staff only, please do not use it to drop off/pick up children. Can we ask parents and children not to cut across the car park, but to walk around on the paths for obvious Health & Safety reasons. Please do not park in front of the gate to the access road at the side of the building. Constant access is required for the emergency services and school vehicles. Any cars causing an obstruction will be reported.
  • Uniform. The pupils look great in their uniform. It is a school requirement that pupils wear the school jumper with the logo and pupils in KS2 must wear a tie. Pupils also need the correct PE kit. The second hand uniform shop, run by the school council, has a variety of jumpers, cardigans, trousers and skirts. Ties and PE kit can be purchased from the Big Wight T-Shirt company.

  • Labeling belongings. Last year we had more than 2 bin bags full of unnamed lost property left at the end of the year. Please make sure that all belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name. Please can you also check the labels regularly to make sure they are still legible and that your child hasn’t brought home someone else’s belongings in error.
