Children whose fifth birthday is between September 1st and August 31st are admitted in September.
However, if parents/carers are concerned that a child may not be mature enough to start in September, it can be discussed, and if necessary, entrance delayed until January.
The planned admission limit for the academic year is 30.

Photographic Policy
A Media Permission from will be completed when your child starts at Barton School. If you wish to make changes at any time a new form can be completed. If you do not wish your child to be photographed/videoed your child will be sensitively withdrawn at the appropriate time.
Photographs can be taken at certain events by parents/carers and you will be notified accordingly e.g. Sports Day, football matches etc. Please be sensitive to other people and do not disrupt or interrupt the event.
Unknown visitors to the school will not be permitted to use cameras/video equipment at any time.
On some occasions the press need photographs for articles. Subject to permission on Media Permission form. We do not always have control of what is printed in the newspaper regarding names but we do as much as we are able to ensure first names only are used.
