What have we been doing at Barton Primary School
Fundraising for Tula
We dressed in bright, glittery mufti clothes today in support of Tula. We would like to send our best wishes to Tula in her brave fight against her illness.

Easter Hats
Nursery children worked hard at home with their families to create a spring bonnet/hat. We asked the rest of the school to vote for their favourite designs. Well done to the winners and thank you to everyone for taking part!

Year 5 residential trip to PGL Osmington Bay, Weymouth
The visit off the Island with a complete itinerary of both land and watersports provided a unique experience for our pupils.
Residential trips organised by the school are, of course, optional but an invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially.

Young Voices
KS2 children at Godshill Primary School and Barton Primary School were given the opportunity to take part in Young Voices – the country’s largest children’s choir at O2 Arena, London

Isle Dance
An outstanding performance resulted in a 3rd place trophy and the Student Choice Award. A sincere well done and thank you to the pupils and staff for their hard work and school spirit. The atmosphere throughout the event was truly remarkable.
A huge well done to all of the other schools who took part, it takes patience, commitment and determination.

Safer Internet Day
We had a visit from PCSO Romie who set up her information stand and spoke to children about the use of social media and online safety. Romie was impressed with their questions and knowledge that they already have.
